It's that time of the week again when we can all have a good old snoop around the desks of other crafters - go and have a look at Julia's blog Stamping Ground for more details and links!
On my desk today is an unmounted set of stamps called 'Vintage Sewing' from Creative Expressions and the Kling-On stuff I'm presently sticking them onto. It's a bit of a laborious and sticky job, but worth doing in the long run.
Over the back you can see two small sheets I've been playing around with using the alcohol ink splatter effect from Tim Holtz book. I discovered what my favourite alcohol ink colour is - 'Cool Peri' and I love the combination of it with 'Cloudy Blue' and 'Pink Sherbert'.
Here's another reveal of what's in three more of my little drawer units
Ranger memory glass, tape and frames.
Stampbord squares and accessories and other alterable surfaces - coasters and those little formica chips (from DIY stores).
Dominos in various sizes.
If you visited my desk last week you would have seen the footstool I had taken apart and ripped the fabric from. I finished the revamp this week and am really pleased with how it turned out. More photos and details are in my previous post, but here's what it looks like now.
In the words of Bugs Bunny 'That's All Folks', and thanks for stopping by - if you let me know you've been, I'll come along to visit you too.

That footstool is fab, I've just inherited one & man does it need a facelift (its from a suite mum & dad had from the 70's until the early 80's which was then given to my nan & the rest of the suite has just gone to sofa heaven - they don't make em like they used to LOL)

Wow the stool looks so different - very classy, you did a fab job.
Just ordered some EZ Mount for the first time ever - have been accumulating unmounted stamps but not getting the best prints, thought I'd give that a bash :P

The footstool is fantastic, I love the fabric especially the black and white one.
Are your boxes always so tidy!!!
The colour combination looks scrummy. Have you filled up the foot stool yet? #120
Your embroidered box is nearly finished! I had to put it down for a week cos I got 'Crafters Bloc'. Just couldn't figure out how to do a certain bit of it. Looked at it again yesterday and the lightblub suddenly came on. So much light I thought the Christmas illuminations
had been switched on. lol. Now just gotta figure out how to sew it altogether.

That stool is fab!! Beautifully done x Becky (#100)
you have done an ace makeover on that footstool - and Jo is right - start selling - get yourself an etsy stall...

You did a great job on the footstool - it looks absolutely terrific. I like the experimenting your doing with inks - another technique for me to try one day. I think that cutting that foam for stamps has just got to be the only horrible task in crafting. Elizabeth #44
Dominoes are so useful and you have made me realise I need to play with alcohol inks more than I do.
Thanks for the snoop
