Here's matchbox number 7 of 25 I received from the 'Countdown to Christmas' swap over on the A Swap For All Seasons blog.
This little beauty was made by the hostess of the swap herself, the lovely Linda Smith who with her helpers, worked so hard organising and co-ordinating this fun festive swap.
The outside of the matchbox is decorated with papers, ric rac, string and not forgetting the pom pom on Santa's hat! There is some sparkly glitter there too (not sure if my photo has captured it though).
The gift inside is a cute little snowman decoration ready to hang on my tree. He has a frayed red scarf and even a little sparkly jewel at his neckline!
It's beautiful Linda, thank you!
Hope to see you all tomorrow for the unveiling of box number 8!

These are more and more precious every day. I guess small match boxes are available at the store. I only use the longer ones to light candles. I'll have to check them out for next year..or small gifts for throughout the year..thanks for posting these.
that box is decorated with fun !
...and those tags are just beautiful.
What a fun Santa! I love these boxes and all the lovely details. Amazing what can be done with such a tiny piece!
Your little matchboxes are stunning, each and every one of them. It's so nice to see a new one popping up every day :-) TFS, Ira
ADORABLE!! Love the vintage image.
Hi Sherry,
Love Linda's box. The snowman is mega cute. I can see the sparkly jewel in the photo. This is getting to be very addictive. I think we are all going to suffer withdrawal syptoms in January with no boxes to post!
P.S. I know who has your no7 box.
Very cute! You're up on my blog today Sherry-thanks so much!!!!
Another super box, cute Santa
OMG, this is so beautiful! Incredible.
I love the Santa peeking around the presents on the box and that snowman is adorable!
I haven't had a chance to visit in a few days... your last several matchboxes are adorable! I'm glad you received one of mine too! And I must say, your 12 tags of Christmas are knocking my socks off! Love 'em!
