Charms from Charm Swap and a Birthday Card

A while ago I took part in a charm swap hosted by

I made five charms and received 5 back together
with the silver charm pin as shown above.

The charms I received were made by
(from left to right)
Roni (the hostess),
Helen Cleary and Cheryl L.
A big thank you to all the above as I love the charms
and it's always so interesting to see the different techniques used.

Here's the charms I made for the swap.

If you click on the photo it should take you to my blog post
about how I made the charms.

Thanks again Roni for a great swap!
If you want to see all the different charms made
Roni has photographed them all on her blog
here, here and here.

Now for something completely different
(are you humming the Monty Python theme tune now....)

It's nothing at all to do with Monty Python (lol),
but a birthday card I made for my sister-in-law.

The background is a combination of stamps
from
Very Vintage Set 2 La Couture by Katy Fox
and
Vintage Sewing by Sam Poole for Creative Expressions.
The die cut shape is from
'The Sewing Room'
by Tim Holtz/Alterations range from Sizzix.
I embossed it, painted it and added a couple of embellishments.

Thanks for looking :)

Great selection of charms that you have received back and each compliment one another too. Love the card. My little dress makers dummy from you is hanging on my wardrobe door. so which of your charms didn't you send off then? Hugs Mrs A.
