LOL - lots of luck!

LOL - lots of love, laugh out loud -
how about lots of luck?

I made these little folders based on the official
National Lotto one you can see above.

It opens up to reveal two plastic compartments
designed to hold a lottery ticket.

I used Sheena Douglass technique again - faux leather
as shown in her YouTube video.

I made four wallets with one piece of A4 Kraft Cardstock.

I embossed them with a St Patrick's background folder
by Darice, and coloured them with Distress Ink -
Peeled Paint, and one of the brown colours (I can't
remember which one it was now)

Inside, I lined them with some Tim Holtz
Eclectic Elements fabric.

For the plastic inserts, I cut two pieces of acetate
(which I'd saved from some packaging or other)
and machine stitched them on.
The stitching is a bit wonky - don't look too closely!

You might be able to see the plastic insert a
little better in the above picture.

I finished them off with a little fabric tag and
attached a shamrock charm - for good luck!

I like the really worn, shabby look -
and uneven stitching - all adds to their charm!

The question now is, will they bring me good luck
with the lottery?
I'd better buy a ticket first, that'd help.

LOL - lots of love and luck to you all xx

Fab idea, they look great. I never buy a ticket tho so I guess I'll never be a winner!

I've never seen those folders but I read somewhere that Romford has the highest number of big lottery wins.

hi Sherry,
Thank you for your lovely kind words. Yes I had forgotten the tales I used to tell you of Mum in the home and then later on in the care home. Funeral is on Monday. Hugs Mrs A.
