What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday week 151

This is what my desk looked like yesterday afternoon.
I was making a card using my new
Distress markers - which fit very nicely in an empty
Ferrero Rocher tub - hopefully the markers will last
a lot longer than the chocolates did!

Along from the markers is this beautiful needlebook
which arrived yesterday

It came from
my exchange partner in a recent
swap (full details are in my previous post).

Finally, this is a carousel thingy which for several years
had been living in our bathroom.

It originally housed bottles of bath crystals
(a Christmas present from my Sister).
I decided to re-locate it to my craft room and filled
it with various ink sprays which previously were dotted
all over the place!  They're much easier to see now and maybe
I'll use them more.

I'm linking this post up to Julia's blog
where every Wednesday she invites everyone to
do just that!

Thanks for looking,  I'll be sure to come and
make a return visit to you too :)

Hello SSD...you are one smart lady - repurposing that carousel for crafty supplies. I do not know these distress markers but they look like a fun new tool in your workplace. Lovely needlebook you received in your swap. Blissful creating my dear...

Well impressed with your spray ink carousel, Sherry. I'd be interested to know what you think of distress markers when you've used them for a while. I love the stains but have not succumbed to a single marker yet.

That little book is really beautiful - very grown up and sexy!
And the carousel is being put to a much better use now - you'll use those little bottles loads more, I bet!

The carousel is a really good idea...I wonder if you'll end up hanging it on a hook from the ceiling to save space!! Mind you, your desk looks HUGE from here. The needle book is gorgeous, you must have been very pleased!

Oh Sherry, did you get the full set of markers? (I did and I have a terribly guilty conscience spending so much....). What a gorgeous looking book you got too, you lucky thing!

I absolutely adore the idea of the bottle carousel, now I would love to know where you got that....? All my inks and sprays are flying around everywhere and it drives me nuts as I can never find the colour I need. This is so clever and looks as if it won't take up too much space...

Your carrousel looks gorgeous and so well organized, too Sherry and that needle box is really fabulous! Have a lovely evening!

Sherry, you still have 9 hours left to join in the CC2C2 challenge. I did not have the white mixative, so used pearl! Come on, girly!

Okay, I've read two posts in row that use plastic chocolate containers for storage. I may have to buy some chocolates for the container. I don't eat chocolate but I'm sure I could find some Designated Chocolate Eaters in my life! Your desk looks very peaceful and tidy, with all the important bits within reach. The spinning rack is too cool. I bet you will use those sprays more now that they are all right there together.

I'm getting around late. I think your idea of relocating the carousel thingy was brilliant! I'll be looking in the bath aisle at stores in the future!! Darnell (184)

The needlebook is beautiful - lucky you!

Where to begin? First... that ATC in the post above with the voluptuous laydeeee. She did make me chuckle and I have to disagree, I think you somehow modelled her on ME :D Fabulous.

Loving your desk with a tinge of jealousy at all that space! The carousel is a great idea. and looks like it was made for that purpose ;) Is that the new Tim Holtz pens? What are they like? I'm banished from buying more pens after my wonderous Copic splurge (am still in Heaven over that!) but I often wonder what they are like!
