Bird People ATCs

It's been ages since I last made an ATC,

but when I saw this 'Bird People' swap

on Marion from Germany's blog

it got me interested again!

In Marion's words -

"The idea is to mix birds and people to create bird people creatures" 

For the backgrounds I used bits of ripped pages from an

 old Yellow Pages Advertiser which was headed for

the recycle bin, and some old book text.

 

I painted over the backgrounds with a couple of

layers of paint - white, then gold.

Then stuck on the images - once I found

suitable bird images (harder than I thought)

Added some words.

(I definitely prefer Daniel Craig with his own head though!)

(oops, the colour isn't this bright in real life!)

I had this leaf on my desk left over from my

Tim tag and it seemed to go.

I finished them off with a bit of rubber stamping. 

There is no sign up date as such for this swap,

but the ATCs must be with Marion before June 1st.
