The current challenge over on the
is to use masks, templates or stencils
(or all three) in your project.
I started off with good intentions gathering
everything I needed.
I used my paper doll template and dabbed and
sprayed paints and inks around it.
I also used all of the stencils above although
they don't show in the finished project!
I didn't like it and it was destined for the rubbish bin.
However, I drew around the edges and coloured
it in a bit - deliberately clashing the colours,
and think it's just about acceptable.
I layered it onto black card, added some
fibres and it's now a bookmark.
(I probably shouldn't have photographed it
on the blue background, but it's done now!)
Thanks for looking
(and for listening to my moaning - lol)

I don't think we are ever happy with our own art work. I like what you have here and it makes a super book mark. Love the colours too. hugs Mrs A.
It's fab. What're you worried about?
I love it,you know what,I do this sooooo many times with something I make,we are our own harshest critics :)

Shes adorable as are all your paper art dolls! Colors are so fun.
a fabby little bookmark Sherry...love her bright & cheery colours :)
I love it! I think the concept of 'happy mistakes' is such a great one. We start off with the intention of creating one thing, but it turns into something better because of the way it 'goes wrong'. Jx
A brilliant bookmark Sherry and yes Happy Mistakes happen and produce fabulous work
