I've been making some Post It Note Holders -
and one of them just happens to fit the bill for
Mrs A's theme this fortnight on her challenge blog -
(click on the pic to go to her blog)
Whatever you create must have a butterfly on -
and this time must also have the colour yellow.
Here then is my entry
A bit on the grungy side, but there is some yellow there.
The butterflies are on the postage stamps.
I used kitchen roll tissue paper and coloured it
with some Brusho powders and water.
The lady and words were printed off the computer
and it was all stuck on the covers with Liquitex
Matt Medium. A final spray with Crafter's Companion
Spray and Shine gives a nice protective finish.
If you flutter by the
blog, you'll see lots of other butterfly entries,
and there may even be a few prizes on offer!
Thanks for looking :)

I still have the ones you sent in full use. I love the vibrant yellow cover and it looks good with the butterfly stamps. So glad you could make it this time.
Thank you for fluttering by #4. Hugs Mrs A. (butterfly challenge)
p.s. guess who is running round chasing her tail for the Hillarys country craft completion. My material took ages to arrive.
These are so bright and beautiful, Sherry.

I love her grungy look and the muted shades of yellow. So unique. I scrolled down to see your extra super neat studio! My family would flip out if mine were ever this neat. They would think I had been replaced by an alien! LOL...
Beautiful notebooks Sherry...loving the grungy look of them, the butterfly stamps and images...and the spray with Crafter's Companion gives them a nice shiny finish ( must get my hands on some of that ;) )...Jan x
These look really good, Sherry, and are such a creative idea - really useful. They will cheer the day of whoever uses them. Jx
