Wow, where did the last month go -
I must have blinked and missed it!
Needless to say, I haven't been doing much crafting,
but am now back at my craft desk only to find, yet again
I don't have the main ingredients for Tim's tag - doh!
Still that hasn't stopped me, even though my take on
this month's tag is somewhat abbreviated.
Tim's tag for September is above -
if you want to see how he made it,
click on the picture to go to his blog.
.... and here's my version
If you've read Tim's post, you may be wondering
where my 'faded layers' in the background are.
Well, if I'd used the proper alcohol ink cardstock
they would probably have shown up,
but as I used ordinary photo gloss paper they didn't.
(let that be a lesson to me!)
I still like the background anyway - it's always
interesting using alcohol inks, such lovely effects.
Something else I didn't have was the Sizzix
Butterfly Frenzy die - so instead I used
a butterfly punch and as the butterfly was quite large,
I only used a single one instead of a whole bunch of them.
I only used a single one instead of a whole bunch of them.
I made two of the tags with different rub on
words. The beautiful stamp is called
Maybe, just maybe, I'll have everything needed
for next month's tag (although I doubt it!).
Thanks for looking :)

Dare I say it? Yes I do! Yours are the bestest. Love that stamp and butterfly. Would love to see you at the Ugly Bug Ball. Hugs Mrs A. (Buuterfly challenge).
Love the way these turned out and that is a lovely stamp - in fact it has reminded me I think I have something similar that hasn't seen ink for a while! Thanks for letting me know your card arrived, it's always good to know things arrive! Hope you had a wonderful day. Xx
Your tags are amazing Sherry! Love how adorned the lady's hair with those darling butterflies, gorgeous! Hugs, Ira x

I was wondering what ever happened to you~I get busy and miss posting for weeks on end too..life calls doesn't it?
I think I like your interpretation of Tim's tags more than his. They have a very soft and 3-dimentional look to them. You are inspiring me to get busy and start making some tags. Love these.
So pretty Sherry, love the tags.
Happy crafting, Angela x
Hi Sherry! I really love your tags. It's a great design and a fantastic version of Tim's tag. The image is so beautiful.

Two gorgeous tags, Sherry. I actually really like it when someone makes a tag that isn't just a replica of Tim's. It shows more imagination and creativity. Jx
